Transparent and fair refund terms for all our RTO services

Our Commitment

At EZRTO, we are committed to providing excellent service and customer satisfaction. We understand that sometimes circumstances change, and we have designed our refund policy to be fair and transparent while protecting both our customers and our business.

1. Refund Eligibility

Eligible for Refund

  • • Service not initiated within 48 hours of payment
  • • Duplicate payment made by mistake
  • • Service cancelled before document collection
  • • Technical error in payment processing
  • • Service not available in your area

Not Eligible for Refund

  • • Service already in progress
  • • Documents submitted to RTO
  • • Change of mind after service starts
  • • RTO rejection due to invalid documents
  • • Service completed successfully

2. Refund Process

How to Request a Refund

  1. Contact Us: Email us at refunds@ezrto.in or call our customer support
  2. Provide Details: Include your order number, payment reference, and reason for refund
  3. Verification: We will verify your request within 24 hours
  4. Processing: Approved refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days
  5. Confirmation: You will receive confirmation once the refund is processed

3. Service-Specific Refund Terms

Hypothecation Termination

  • • Full refund if service not initiated within 48 hours
  • • 50% refund if cancelled after document collection but before RTO submission
  • • No refund once documents are submitted to RTO

RC Transfer & NOC Services

  • • Full refund if service not available in your area
  • • 75% refund if cancelled before document verification
  • • No refund after RTO processing begins

Doorstep Pickup Services

  • • Full refund if pickup not available in your area
  • • 50% refund if cancelled after pickup scheduling
  • • No refund after documents are collected

4. Refund Methods

Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original transaction:

  • • Credit/Debit Cards: 5-7 business days
  • • UPI Payments: 2-3 business days
  • • Net Banking: 3-5 business days
  • • Digital Wallets: 2-4 business days

5. Subscription-Based Auto Payments

Monthly Auto-Pay for Services

  • For selected services, you may choose to pay the total service amount in monthly installments instead of a single upfront payment.
  • By enabling monthly auto-pay, you authorize EZRTO and our payment partners to automatically deduct the agreed installment amount from your saved payment method on the scheduled due date every month.
  • The number of installments, amount per installment, and total payable amount (including any applicable taxes/charges) will be clearly shown to you before you confirm the plan.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that your payment method remains valid and has sufficient balance or credit for each monthly auto-debit.

Cancellations, Defaults & Refunds

  • You may request to stop future monthly auto-pay at any time through your account or by contacting our support team. After cancellation, no further installments will be charged, but amounts already paid are generally non-refundable, except where required by law.
  • If you cancel before the full service amount is paid, EZRTO may pause, limit, or stop providing the related service, depending on the stage of processing and amounts already paid.
  • If an installment is not successfully debited (for example, due to insufficient balance or card expiry), we may attempt to charge again or ask you to update your payment method. Continued non-payment may result in suspension of service until dues are cleared.
  • If an installment was deducted by mistake (for example, after confirmed cancellation), a full or partial refund may be issued after verification.

Mandate / Auto-Debit Authorization

  • When you set up monthly auto-pay, you may be required to create a recurring e-mandate / auto-debit instruction with your bank, card issuer, UPI app, or wallet provider.
  • Details of the mandate (amount, frequency, validity, and cancellation process) will be shown by the respective payment gateway or provider at the time of authorization.
  • You can revoke or modify this mandate directly through your bank/payment app or by following the process shown in your account. However, revoking the mandate without clearing dues may impact the continuation of your service.

6. Dispute Resolution

If You Disagree with Our Decision

If you believe your refund request was incorrectly denied, you can:

  1. Request a review by our senior management team
  2. Provide additional documentation to support your case
  3. Contact our customer service for escalation
  4. File a complaint with consumer forums if necessary
